How a gaming mouse affect your gaming experience?

Some people think that gaming mouse and normal mouse are the same
just depends on your skill, is it real?
recently i just found out that beside DPI (dots per inch)
is the speed of the mouse, the higher the number, the faster the mouse arrow moves
some high end gaming mouse DPI can be up to 6000dpi
if you are using a 50inch tv with hdmi connected to your computer,
yes u can use that
if you are just using a 14inch laptop, 1600-2000dpi is more than enough for you
a simply cheap mouse is only 800dpi

and one more thing you need to compare before buying a mouse
is the usb polling rate.
response time of the mouse,
mean how many times the device send back information to the system
for a normal mouse is 125hz..
which mean it will response 125 times in 1 second
or response once in 8ms
for gaming mouse the polling rate is 500hz-1000hz
mean response up to 1000 times in 1 second
some mouse are originally came with 125hz
but it can be overclock to higher polling rate
here is the way to overclock your mouse to a higher polling rate
